“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1
When Dr. Sherri Yoder felt like God was about to steer her off a cliff, she sat down and wrote all of her “little lies” on one sheet of paper and all of God’s truths on the other to remind her that these “lies” had no power.
This shirt serves as a reminder that we should always give thanks to our Lord. The first part of the verse is written out in a handwritten style, just like we are reminding ourselves of a daily task that needs to be completed. And out of all the tasks we have in this world, taking a few seconds to show gratitude to our Lord should be at the top of our list each and every day.
It is contrasted with the big, bold of “His Love Endures Forever” because this is a fact, this is a true statement, and there is no wavering. Even when we, as humans, waver, he is still there guiding us on the path through his love and kindness.
