I have seen the things that matter most to men slide down the drain. But, the seed that God planted, through my Sunday School teacher, planted in my heart several years ago has always flourished amidst the storms, winds, and famine.

Who is Josh Hick?
My name is Josh Hick, a disabled veteran, a speaker, and a health coach. I help clients achieve and live the reality of their health goal dreams. Among my achievements, I was awarded the Fan Favorites during the Ultimate Speaker Competition.
I’ve struggled financially, physically, and emotionally despite my beautiful story. I even struggled with PTSD and sometimes still do today.
Where did it all start?
I have always loved ministry and wanted to be a positive influencer. I started on a path to being a pastor before things went awry. I lost my first marriage during the deep dives, and life took a new turn.
I was confused by the goodness of God, at the same time echoing the pressure of divorce and the rejections of the missionary that clouded my life at that moment.
I felt lost and empty inside. I did many things to fill the void in my heart. The rejection made me look at different paths. Within this time, I joined the military to fill the emptiness.
A New Turn Again
In 2014 when I returned from deployment, I had a lot of questions for God. I asked Him for his plans for my life and the direction he wanted me to take. I just wanted to serve – I opened a construction business that year and named it Godly Installments.
Our business grew so rapidly that we had to employ workers. But, we had no financial ability to manage the fast growth. That sent us into debt everywhere. I took all types of quick loans to sustain the business and pay workers. Four years down the line, we were still buried in many loans, and the struggles were mountainous.
I felt less of a man for not being able to provide for my wife and children. I struggled financially, emotionally, and physically. These tussles manifested in my physical appearance, with a 60-pound weight gain.
The One Instant That Changed Everything
Then one day, while sweating it in the gym, a man traveling from across the world approached me and talked me into something that would soon shine a light on my life in all rounds. Despite the doubts, I took up the challenge and focused on what he offered.
I loved (and still love) the outcomes and have since shared the story with everyone. I believe God works miraculously, and the light he shone in me as a small child still glitters to date. Today I’m living my lifelong dream of positively impacting lives and sharing the glory of God.
